As Head of Education, Atif leads and manages all educational services provided by the organisation, with a strong emphasis on ensuring content is pedagogically sound, accessible, and inclusive.
He brings extensive experience in education and training from his academic roles at the University of Leeds and the University of Bradford. As an Assistant Professor in Primary Care Pharmacy Practice and Digital Lead for the MPharm programme, Atif has a particular interest in driving innovation through digital technologies.
Alongside his educational leadership, Atif practices as an Independent Prescribing Advanced Clinical Practitioner in General Practice, delivering healthcare services and contributing to clinical research. His portfolio also spans workforce development, with roles at NHS England (Training Programme Director), the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (Chair of the Early Careers Pharmacist Advisory Group), and Medicare Chemists (Educational Programme Director).
Throughout his career, Atif has successfully combined clinical, operational, managerial, and research responsibilities. Head of Operations (Co-Founder)
Mohammed Imran is an accomplished healthcare leader, Independent Prescribing Advanced Clinical Practitioner, and innovator with a proven track record in designing and delivering high-quality healthcare services. He brings expertise in workforce development, complex service design, and large-scale project delivery, with experience spanning both public and private sectors. His work is defined by a commitment to improving patient outcomes, driving organisational efficiency, and fostering system-wide change.
He began his career in community pharmacy as a locum pharmacist before becoming a pharmacy manager, successfully leading a team of 16 staff and overseeing service delivery in a busy practice environment. He later advanced to Superintendent Pharmacist for a private online pharmacy, where he was responsible for the healthcare needs of over 100,000 registered patients nationwide, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within a highly regulated setting.
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in general practice, Mohammed Imran provides comprehensive patient care, managing a wide spectrum of conditions from acute illnesses to long-term chronic disease. His ability to integrate clinical expertise with a person-centred approach ensures patients receive tailored, effective, and evidence-based care.
Alongside his clinical and operational achievements, Mohammed Imran has played a key role in education and training. As a Clinical Teacher at the University of Bradford, he supported the next generation of healthcare professionals and was awarded Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. GP Tutor
Dr. Nadeem Akhtar is a General Practitioner (GP) and healthcare leader known for his exceptional contributions to primary care and medical education. Dr. Akhtar pursued his passion for medicine at Leeds University, where he obtained his medical degree with the distinct of Medical Honors.
As a GP, Dr. Akhtar has dedicated himself to serving the diverse healthcare needs of his patients. His empathetic approach and clinical expertise have earned him the trust and admiration of both patients and colleagues alike. Dr. Akhtar’s role as a Managing Partner at Spring Hall Group Practice underscores his commitment to enhancing the quality of care delivered to the community.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Akhtar is deeply involved in healthcare leadership and innovation. As the Clinical Director of Central Halifax PCN and Director of Pennine GP Alliance, he spearheads initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, enhancing collaboration among healthcare providers, and addressing systemic challenges within the healthcare system.
Dr. Akhtar’s dedication to medical education is exemplified by his role as the Training Programme Director for the Pennine Training Scheme. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in shaping the training and professional development of future generations of general practitioners. Dr. Akhtar’s mentorship and guidance have helped aspiring doctors navigate the complexities of primary care and emerge as competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
Furthermore, Dr. Akhtar’s commitment to maintaining high standards of practice is reflected in his role as a GP Appraiser. As an appraiser, he ensures that his fellow GPs receive constructive feedback, support, and guidance to continually improve their clinical practice and deliver patient-centred care.

GP Tutor
Dr. Majid Azeb is an experienced General Practitioner and healthcare leader based in Halifax. A GP since 2005, he is a partner at Spring Hall Group Practice and plays a key role in education and system leadership across the region. Dr. Azeb is a GP Trainer with the Pennine Vocational Training Scheme, an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Leeds, and mentors medical students, pharmacists, physician associates, and trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners from Leeds, Bradford, and Huddersfield universities.
He serves as the Primary Care Clinical Place Lead for Calderdale ICB, Educational Lead for the Central PCN in Halifax, and is an active member of the Local Medical Committee. Dr. Azeb is widely respected for his contributions to medical education, multidisciplinary training, and the development of integrated, patient-centred primary care.

Foundation Training Lead
Katy is a pharmacist and Foundation Training Lead with a strong background in clinical practice, education, and workforce development. She specialises in designing and delivering high-quality training programmes that ensure foundation pharmacists are supported with up-to-date, accurate, and relevant learning resources. Her work includes developing innovative educational content, contributing to live webinar programmes, and delivering teaching sessions that prepare pharmacists for the next stage of their careers.
Her career began with a training year split between general practice and hospital pharmacy, providing her with wide-ranging exposure to patient care across settings. As a foundation pharmacist, Katy completed rotations in specialties such as general surgery, orthopaedics, and infectious diseases, before moving into a respiratory specialist role. In her current clinical practice, she provides pharmacy services to in-patient wards, manages homecare and outpatient clinics, and supports specialist areas such as cystic fibrosis. Alongside her clinical duties, she is also a post-graduate diploma workplace tutor, guiding foundation pharmacists through their early professional development.
Katy has continued to advance her own expertise through higher education and professional qualifications. In 2024, she completed her Pharmacist Independent Prescribing qualification at Sheffield Hallam University, expanding her ability to provide direct, patient-centred care. She also holds an MSc in Foundation Pharmacy Practice from the University of Bradford, where her studies focused on innovative strategies to improve patient outcomes. Her MSc included a quality improvement project exploring how pharmacy teams can be more effectively utilised to optimise healthcare delivery.
With a strong combination of advanced education, specialist training, and hands-on clinical practice, Katy is committed to improving patient outcomes, supporting the next generation of pharmacists, and contributing to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Scholarship Award Lead
TJ is the Scholarship Award Lead, responsible for managing and developing the foundation training scholarship programme designed to support Black, Afro, and BAME trainee pharmacists during their key development year. They are passionate about addressing the awarding and attainment gap within pharmacy and are committed to building meaningful platforms that empower the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
Their involvement with the scholarship initiative began in 2021 as a trainee pharmacist, before progressing into a mentorship role and ultimately leading the programme. This progression has provided TJ with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by trainees and a wealth of experience to draw upon in their leadership.
Alongside this role, TJ is undertaking a PhD in Human Nutrition, researching the effects of coffee consumption on cardiovascular health outcomes. This combines their personal interest with a dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and promoting evidence-based health communication.
TJ also brings experience from a range of professional roles, including pharmacy store management at Boots UK and ongoing work as a locum community pharmacist. This mix of clinical, research, and leadership experience shapes their vision for broadening career possibilities within pharmacy and inspiring others to explore opportunities beyond traditional pathways.

Phlebotomy Course Lead
Eshaan Akthar has extensive experience of working as a Care Coordinator across GP practices where he will often undertake tasks such as phlebotomy, long term condition reviews and administration of vaccinations.
Eshaan has a track record of developing educational programmes through role as Founder and Chairman of AK Education Group where he guides the organisation’s strategic vision and builds collaborations across schools, healthcare networks and community organisations.
Combining practical experience in community outreach with a belief in mentorship’s power, Eshaan ensures every programme is inclusive, impactful and tailored to student needs. Eshaan is also an studying medicine at the Commonwealth University, College of Medicine.

Exams & Calculations Programme Lead
Habib Shah is the Exams and Calculations Lead, responsible for developing high-quality learning materials that challenge and support trainee pharmacists in preparing for the registration assessment. His work ensures that content is aligned with the GPhC framework while meeting the practical needs of future pharmacists. In addition to his role in education, he has contributed to two volumes of the Pharmacy Registration Assessment Questions series, designed to stimulate critical thinking and enhance learning.
Habib graduated from the University of Bradford with a Master of Pharmacy in 2018 and began his career in community pharmacy, where he completed his pre-registration training. Early exposure to general practice through mentors shaped his progression into a GP-based pharmacist role, where he implemented patient safety initiatives and supported practices in meeting CQC standards. At the same time, he expanded his experience within Calderdale & Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, working across multiple specialties and contributing to a pharmacy-led discharge service pilot that improved the quality and efficiency of patient discharges.
In 2020, Habib joined a Primary Care Network (PCN) as a pharmacist, where his clinical expertise and leadership led to promotion as a senior pharmacist and co-lead of the trainee pharmacist programme in 2022. He also qualified as an independent prescriber, enabling him to provide advanced clinical care in both primary and secondary care settings. His broad experience across community, hospital, and general practice has made him a versatile and well-rounded clinician, as well as a designated supervisor for trainee pharmacists within his PCN.
Committed to continuous professional development, Habib completed the Health Education England Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway and is currently training as an anticoagulant specialist in primary care. His combined expertise in education and clinical practice reflects a passion for improving patient care and advancing the pharmacy profession.

Foundation Training Employer Lead and Tutor
Maryam is an Employer Lead and experienced pharmacy tutor with a strong focus on developing the next generation of pharmacists. She is passionate about delivering engaging, inclusive, and high-quality learning experiences that prepare trainee pharmacists for successful careers. In her role, she supports employers through the Oriel recruitment process and represents her organisation at key pharmacy events, promoting training services and strengthening partnerships with prospective employers. She also contributes to education by delivering clinical content to university students, ensuring they receive accurate, up-to-date, and practice-focused teaching.
Maryam’s career has spanned both community pharmacy and general practice, having completed a split GP placement during her training year. She has also supported local surgeries through medication reviews, where her work has contributed to improving patient safety and optimising care. With a particular interest in cardiovascular health, Maryam plans to undertake her prescribing qualification to better support hypertensive patients and reduce cardiovascular disease within her community.
Looking to the future, Maryam is committed to expanding her role as an educator and collaborating with universities to produce skilled, confident pharmacists who can meet the evolving needs of the healthcare system. Her combined experience in clinical practice, education, and employer engagement reflects her dedication to advancing both patient care and the pharmacy profession.

Social Media Manager
Isma is the Head of Social Media and Marketing, responsible for creating educational content and resources that engage pharmacists and trainees across a range of platforms. Her work includes producing creative and impactful materials such as reels and infographics, with a particular focus on highlighting issues around equality, diversity, and inclusion in healthcare. Through her role, she combines digital innovation with educational impact to ensure content is accessible, relevant, and widely shared.
A qualified Independent Prescriber specialising in mental health, Isma brings experience from working across hospital, community, and voluntary sector settings. She played a key role in establishing the ACE Pharmacy programme with the British Islamic Medical Association and has contributed to outreach and support initiatives with the faith-based mental health charity Inspirited Minds.
With her blend of clinical expertise, creative skills, and commitment to EDI, Isma bridges healthcare and communication, using her platforms to raise awareness, share knowledge, and support the professional development of current and future pharmacists.

Clinical Tutor (Hospital Pharmacy)
Scott is a Clinical Pharmacist at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in Derbyshire, with additional experience in primary care, community pharmacy, and academia. He specialises in Critical Care and Surgical Pharmacy, bringing expertise across a wide range of clinical settings and patient groups.
After graduating from the University of Huddersfield in 2018, Scott went on to complete a postgraduate diploma and Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Bradford, focusing on critical care antibiotic usage. His daily responsibilities include supporting surgical ward rounds, reviewing patients in the Theatre Assessment Unit, running anticoagulation clinics, and providing care within ITU, HDU, and acute admissions. He also plays a key role in pre-registration pharmacist tutoring and has further developed his expertise through multiple UKCPA courses in critical care and surgery.
Alongside his hospital role, Scott contributes to pharmacy education as part of the teaching team at the University of Nottingham, where he serves as Clinical Pharmacy Lead for the Renal and Endocrine modules and contributes significantly to Prescribing and Professional Practice teaching. His combined clinical and academic work reflects a strong commitment to improving patient care while supporting the education and development of future pharmacists.

Clinical Tutor (Hospital Pharmacy)
Abbas is an experienced hospital pharmacist with a career spanning clinical practice, education, and leadership. He began his career as a rotational pharmacist, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice, which provided a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy across a range of specialties.
He went on to take an Education and Training role, overseeing undergraduate and pre-registration pharmacist development, before becoming a Teacher Practitioner at the University of Brighton, where he contributed to both postgraduate and MSc programmes. Alongside this, Abbas advanced his own expertise by completing the Independent Prescribing qualification and undertaking professional development through roles with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association, strengthening his leadership and management skills.
Abbas progressed into senior leadership as Associate Chief Pharmacist, where he is responsible for leading and managing clinical pharmacy services across an NHS organisation. His combined experience in clinical practice, education, and strategic management reflects a career dedicated to improving patient care, developing the pharmacy workforce, and advancing the profession.

Clinical Tutor (Hospital Pharmacy)
Devesh is a Clinical Pharmacist with over 14 years of experience delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care within a fast-paced hospital environment. His career foundations were built through exposure to a wide range of clinical specialties at ward level, as well as specialised roles in Aseptics, Medicines Information, and Outpatients.
Over the past decade, Devesh has led major digital transformation initiatives, including the transition from paper to electronic health records within his hospital. With digital medicines management as a core area of expertise, he has demonstrated the ability to lead and inspire teams in leveraging technology to improve patient safety, streamline workflows, and deliver organisational objectives.
Alongside his MPharm and Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Devesh holds an MSc in Digital Health Leadership and a project management qualification. As Deputy Chief Clinical Information Officer, he contributes to the organisation’s strategic digital roadmap beyond pharmacy, leading the adoption of innovative technologies such as robotic process automation to optimise care delivery. His role also involves designing and delivering training programmes on digital systems for a wide range of healthcare professionals. With many years of experience in tutoring and teaching, Ajeetpal is deeply passionate about education and mentorship. He has supported countless students and young professionals, blending his knowledge with a natural ability to inspire and guide others. His work extends beyond academia through collaborations with NGOs across Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA, where he has trained and motivated young people to embrace leadership, compassion, and excellence.
